Who is Lavabre Cadet, who is Mary Beyer?
The glove making workshop Lavabre Cadet was founded in 1946 in Millau, France.
Since 2004 it is member of the very prestigious « Grands Ateliers de France » which only the country’s best artisans can enter.
The workshop has been rescued in difficult times by Mary Beyer, the French Ministry of Culture and the City of Paris but first and foremost by individuals believing in Mary's cause.
Lavabre Cadet has been supplying for decades the Haute Couture in France :
Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Swarovski…

Mary Beyer has opened recently her boutique in the world’s first gallery which combines art and high crafts: Galérie Montpensier in the Palais Royal, Paris.
